The Clearview Institute believes in supporting the community. That is why we lend a helping hand to a variety of worthwhile organizations, providing pro bono surgical procedures, consultation and financial assistance.

Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami Fund

The Clearview Institute is proudly making a donation to the Canadian Red Cross Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami fund on behalf of each of our patients in the month of March to help support the relief efforts following the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.

Canadian Foundation for Aids Research

CANFAR, the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research, is a national charitable foundation whose goal is to raise awareness in order to generate funds for research into all aspects of HIV infection and AIDS. CANFAR is dedicated to finding a sustainable end to the AIDS pandemic by supporting research.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

Clearview proudly donates $25.00 on behalf of every female patient we treat. The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is the leading national volunteer-based organization in Canada dedicated to creating a future without breast cancer. Established in 1986 by a dedicated group of volunteers, the Foundation works collaboratively to fund, support and advocate for relevant and innovative research, meaningful education and awareness programs, early diagnosis and effective treatment, and positive quality of life for those living with breast cancer. 

Prostate Cancer Society

Clearview proudly donates $25.00 on behalf of every male patient we treat. The Prostate Cancer Society is a medical research charity; they aim to encourage, support and carry out research into the causes, prevention and treatment of prostate cancer and also research the impact of living with the disease.

Sick Kids Program

Clearview Institute is establishing a program designed to help children who would benefit from refractive surgery. Working in conjunction with the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Clearview Institute will perform surgical procedures not covered by government assistance, one day each month for qualifying candidates.

Niagara Warehouse of Hope

Under the sponsorship of Lions Eyecare International, Clearview Institute is involved in projects that help those in need. The Clearview Institute proudly donates hundreds of pairs of used eye glasses for reuse in poor areas.
